"Great to be Alive"

I saw this picture at the Sunday Inquirer newspaper this morning. I had a great time painting this one with my pastels and acrylic paints on a 360gsm paper board. A painting a day keeps the boredom away.

Kokeshi Dolls

I am fascinated with the Kokeshi Dolls, those handcrafted cuties with no arms and legs. It gives me pure joy creating them. I first made the smaller peg dolls, then finally came up with these. Little Red Riding hood and Alice in Wonderland are two of my favorite characters of all time. So, i had to pay tribute to these "fierce" ladies. I will be posting more of them soonest.

Bieber Fever

There is an epidemic or should i say a pandemic on everything Bieber. My girls, although they are not huge on JB, suggested to have me paint a JB -theme shoes. This was done on a Robertson low tops and i can also do this on Converse. If you are interested to have one, we can work out a JB design of your choice and see how it goes. You can give me an email or visit my shop at ETSY.

My First Lady Gaga Project on Converse

I was surprised to hear from a client asking me to hand paint a Lady Gaga-inspired shoes for her.
So, I came up with this pair after we discussed a few more details.
I use acrylic paint and some fabric glitter for my hand painted shoes. These materials are permanent on fabric. The shoes can be washed anytime without damaging the artwork.
